Catholic Mission National Council

Catholic Mission is the Australian arm of the Catholic Church’s global mission aid agency, which is part of a world-wide network of Pontificial Mission Societies. Catholic Mission in Australia directly supports missionary works in 131 dioceses in 37 countries.

It provides awareness and educational services and resources throughout Australia. It also offers opportunities for Australians to participate in mission work through prayer, action, giving and cross-cultural immersion. Some of Catholic Mission’s projects include the Propagation of the Faith Appeal, the Pontificial Mission Survey and the Parish Appeal. Sister Cathy Solano rsm is CRA’s representative on Catholic Mission’s National Council. The Council has 12 members and meets three times a year.
