On Friday, February 14th, eight young novices from 4 different countries took their vows as Passionist Religious in their Profession Ceremony at The Monastery Church, St Paul's, in Glen Osmond, Adelaide where they have spent the past year in formation and service.

Kiet, Vuoung and Huyhn from Vietnam, Jimmy from Korea, John from China, with Tony and Joey from Papua New Guinea took the usual three vows of Poverty, Chastity and Obedience, and the special First Vow of the Passionists - to keep alive the memory of the Passion of Jesus Christ. Taking their vows, they know, is easy. Living them forever will be the challenge! As they give up careers, their homes, the possibility of their own families and take on a life of service for others, pray for the gift of God's rewarding grace for them.
