BBI courses on Church governance and leadership

BBI logiExperienced and emerging leaders will benefit from a three-day program on Church governance and leadership from the Broken Bay Institute available in Sydney (12-14 August) and Brisbane (19-21 August). 

The sessions will feature Fr Francis Morrisey omi, internationally renowned canon lawyer, author and speaker on many of the courses, among them Church Governance and Leadership: Exploring the Opportunities, Issues and Risks. Other presenters include Rev Professor Gerald O’Collins SJ, Sr Helen Delaney RSM and Rev Noel Connolly SSC and a broad range of leading practitioners. The three-day program will take an in-depth look at Catholic Church governance, management, canonical teachings, Catholic identity and pastoral planning and includes a theological underpinning of leadership and mission.

The courses include: Good governance and Canon Law: canonical teachings for leaders, Good governance and Canon Law: building a leadership framework for the effective promotion of Catholic identity, communion and mission, and Promoting Effective Pastoral Planning and Mission Delivery: Leadership issues, risks and opportunities.
