Salesian Sisters celebrated 60 years

Salesian Sisters celebrated sixty years of their presence in the South Pacific region with a special Eucharist presided over by Fr Noel Mackay of St. Jude’s parish in Scoresby on Saturday 22nd November. The Provincial leader of the Salesian Sisters, Edna-Mary MacDonald FMA, and all Salesian Sisters of Melbourne were present in this special Eucharist to thank God for their ministry to the young especially those in need.

Fr Greg Chambers, the Provincial of the Salesians, and many Salesian priests and brothers, and many friends of the Salesian Sisters participated in the Eucharist to thank God and to the Sisters for their service.
