francis sullivan150Francis Sullivan, CEO of the Truth Justice and Healing Council, has called on all Catholic communities and agencies to stay in touch with the reforms which are starting to take place in the Church as the Royal Commission into child sex abuse continues its work.

“The Catholic Church is playing a very important role in contributing to the public debate around reforms which need to be made, particularly across civil litigation and redress for survivors of abuse.

“It is vitally important that the Catholic community, at the very least, is aware of these changes.

To help people stay in touch, the Council has produced artwork for postcards and flyers which include contact details for the TJHC and the Royal Commission.

Download the artwork from the TJHC website at

There are two options: a flyer in colour or black and white that can be printed ‘in-house’ on A4 paper; and a postcard which can be printed by a professional printer. The artwork includes specifications for the printer.

This material can then be distributed in churches, schools, welfare agencies and other community settings.

Mr Sullivan said the Church, through the Council, is working closely with the Commission on a new approach to helping survivors of child sexual abuse find justice.

“I encourage everyone to sign up to our weekly electronic newsletter, which gives a brief overview of the weekly work of the Council, news from the Royal Commission and media and other material.
