paddockCatholic Earthcare is holding a symposium and retreat, 'Spirit Dreaming, Earth Responding', for clergy, religious and lay people seeking to integrate Laudato Si’ into their way of being on Earth.

It will be held at St Clement’s Retreat Centre in Galong, NSW on 17th – 29th September 2017. Early bird registrations are now open until April 18.

This symposium and retreat will explore the deep spiritual connection between place, people and culture through dialogue and collective action. It aims to purposefully transform our organisations, schools, health and social services, parishes and communities to respond to the ecological, economic and social crises of our times.

Symposium presenters from diverse backgrounds will share their unique insights into the global and spiritual challenges we face including: Aboriginal Australians, Theologians such as Prof Denis Edwards & Dr Tony Kelly, Economists such as Dr Ross Garnaut and Dr Bruce Duncan. Biblical scholars such as Dr Elizabeth Dowling. Cultural and Environmental Historians such as Dr George Main, Health Professionals such as Dr Katrina Anderson MD, and Local Agriculturalists such as David Marsh and Chris Main.
