FEN logoThe Faith Ecology Network (FEN) is an interfaith collective promoting ecological awareness and care which was initiated by the Columban Mission Institute. The FEN is in the process of becoming part of the United Religions Initiative (URI) as a Cooperation Circle. Assistant Coordinator Hannah Cifuentes was invited to the URI inaugural training day in Melbourne where she met with other Cooperation Circles involved in interfaith dialogue and cross-cultural bridging activities. As part of URI, FEN is able to establish greater connections with organisations and networks around Australia.

FEN is also looking for contributions from members or the public for their online blog, which features short articles on issues of ecology from various faith backgrounds. If you are passionate about a particular environmental issue and would like to write a short blog from your faith perspective, please email FEN’s Assistant Coordinator, Hannah Cifuentes: This email address is being protected from spambots. This article was first published in the March 2016 edition of Columbans E-Connections, the monthly e-newsletter of the Columban Mission Institute.
