ARRCC ark150Would you like to be able to animate meaningful action in your community to address climate change, but there are various hurdles and blocks? Would you like to meet with others in the ARRCC network who are interested in making a difference?

ARRCC is offering a day-long workshop in Sydney on May 16th, with a view to holding similar workshops in other States. The aim is to have you feeling more empowered, clearer on how to be effective and more connected with other ARRCC members and friends. Thea and Miriam will guide the day, part of which will be taking you through the steps used by professional organisers to achieve their chosen goals. There are some basic “tricks of the trade” which can be learned so that the work you do actually pays off. These can’t be passed on in a single workshop, but you’ll be left with a clearer idea of what has worked for others.

Facilitators: Thea Ormerod & Miriam Pepper
Where: Edmund Rice Centre, 15 Henley Rd, Flemington, right near the train station
When: 10 am to 4.30 pm, Saturday, May 16th
Cost: donations welcome
Lunch and light refreshments will be provided.
