Divestment: taking action on climate change

watermark nov14 coverThe Conference of Leaders of Religious Institutes in NSW or CLRI(NSW) recently released its latest edition of Watermark, a publication exploring environmental issues.

The November 2014 edition focuses on divestment as a powerful way for individuals to take action on climate change. Divestment means actively withdrawing money from institutions that are unethical. In terms of climate change, it means divesting from companies - namely, banks and superannuation funds - that invest your money in fossil fuels.
