The CLRI(NSW) Social Justice Committee has formed small groups around pressing issues in the lead up to the Federal Election with the aim of taking action on the issues and encouraging congregational members to take action.

The small group around climate change -Geraldine Kearney sgs, Kate Anderson, Maddison Costello and Sharon Price- decided to make a YouTube video about the attitudes of children to climate change in Kiribati and Australia. Gerry videoed children in Kiribati, Kate videoed her children and Maddison interviewed a Year 12 student who's been to Kiribati. Maddison edited the film and added in the commentary.

It has been watched 178 times already and we'd like to make that number much greater. Please go to YouTube and watch the short and very engaging video and recommend it to your friends and family.

We also opened a CLRI(NSW) Social Justice Committee twitter account, with postings by Maddison -check it out by going to Twitter and looking for us at:  @clrinsw.

News about the video and Twitter account are also on the News & Info page of the CLRI NSW website.
