homeless manCatholic Social Services Australia (CSSA) joins over 200 social services organisations calling on the Prime Minister to extend long-term funding for the National Partnership Agreement on Homelessness (NPAH) and keep people safe, off the streets and alive.

In an open letter to the Prime Minister ahead of the December 9 Council of Australian Governments (COAG) meeting, they urge for more long-term support for the NPAH, which will be defunded in 2017. These cuts will impact upon some of the most vulnerable people: women and children overcoming family violence and sexual assault, young people leaving the child protection system, and people with extreme health problems and the homeless.
