The Australian Catholic Social Justice Council (ACSJC) offers three short discussion guides that address critical issues concerning justice for Australia’s most vulnerable workers or for those who confront the reality of unemployment.
These vital aspects of work and dignity in our country address: the inadequate levels of income support offered to people who are unemployed; the risk that penalty rates will be cut for vulnerable workers; and the increasing intrusion of work demands into family time and weekends. We encourage you to promote these documents in your networks and publications. We hope that they will be a valuable resource for anyone who wants to be informed about the Church’s commitment to justice and fulfilment in the workplace.
