I am delighted to hear that the Catholic church has taken a stance on Coal Seam Gas. I have a banner that reads "When I hear landholders experiences, salt water wells in my eyes". This was inspired by Julian Lennon's song.

I am a member of Lock the Gate Alliance and I am also on the management committee of the organisation. I have supported the people in Tara who have been forced to live in a gasfield. I have met many people who have stories of suffering due to this industry. I would like to offer my interest in meeting with some of your committee members to explore ways the Catholic Church can assist with raising awareness and obtaining a moretorium on CSG.
