from the CRA President: Witness to cooperation
The multi-faith theme of CRA's June national assembly will speak to the contemplative and prophetic role of religious men and women as the interreligious dialogue with the Abrahamic faiths opens up respect, esteem and appreciation.  
 
International speaker and prolific writer England's Fr Timothy Radcliffe OP will offer hope and meaning to a "beautiful vocation" when he speaks with religious women and men in Brisbane.
 

Children with intellectual disabilities have a natural connection to God that Catholic schools are able to develop and support. This is why it is so important for Catholic children with disabilities to have access to a Catholic education.  Could Catholic schools share the cost of making specialist education available?

 
A woman who had the rare opportunity to help shape a new group of Australian-founded religious women, leading them through the tumultuous post-Vatican II years, has been farewelled by her congregation, family and friends.

CRA is set to join Australia's interfaith dialogue through its national assembly while two leading Benedictine figures from the world stage will be in Melbourne later this year. Joan Chittister OSB and Laurence Freeman OSB will be among an impressive list of speakers - including the Dalai Lama - at the 2009 Parliament of the World's Religions, in Melbourne, in December.
